What do we need our virtual volunteers to do?
Many different things actually. Sometimes we just need help getting a message out on social media so we’ll ask you to post a message or an image. Other times we’ll email an article we wrote and ask our volunteers to like it (assuming you do of course) or comment on it on our blog. Sometimes we’ll ask for input about a future article or ask you to offer feedback on one before we post it.
There are times when we need help from our volunteers on very specific things like; printing small cards so all our volunteers can pass them out as they go about their day, or donating frequent flyer miles and even writing (blogging) about your experiences. And we always need help raising donations and promoting our online store.
Most of all, we always want our virtual volunteers to let people know about Shelter The World and the conditions the rest of the world lives in. Share about the families and people we are trying to assist and finally let those around you know just how blessed we are to have so much and to cherish the lives of those less fortunate.
